Prevention

PARC offers a number of educational programs focused on the prevention of sexual assault. The program is dedicated to meeting the needs of schools, youth-serving organizations, civic organizations, and the community at large.

Advocacy

Our advocacy program is designed to meet the needs of individuals and families impacted by sexual assault. The program focuses on meeting the needs of the clients. All services are free and confidential.

  • Medical Accompaniments
  • Comfort Kits
  • Criminal Justice Accompaniments
  • Counseling Referrals
  • Medical Referrals
  • Support Group Services
  • Application Assistance with Victims Compensation Fund
  • Financial Assistance

 

 

Community-Based Awareness

Each year, the Center presents awareness events through the West Georgia Community. They include:

 

  • Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month – February
  • Sexual Assault Awareness Month – April
  • Domestic Violence Awareness Month - October
  • Clothesline Project
